Why I Never Despise Small Beginnings

From the time I can remember my house was always full not just with my parents and 7 siblings but we always had relatives/friends living with us in our 4 bedroom 2 bath house, we definitely had a full house. The living room, dining room, and garage were just that during the day but in the evening they became bedrooms to accommodate all of us. Every morning and evening we all gathered in the living room for family prayer that my father or grandfather would lead us in. How my parents gave their time and resources really birthed in me what it means to give and share, I learned at a very young age, “even if I have a little I still have enough to share”. How they consistently brought our family together for prayer instilled in me the importance of staying close to God and seeking His wisdom to live life. The home truly is the greatest learning institute and I am who I am today because of my parents relationship with God. The power of His love and reaching out to people was definitely evident in my parents and has absolutely trickled down to my siblings and I.
